"The 2020 Clos du Roi Cuvée Baronne de Baÿ is a wine of lovely density and marvelous complexity, with aromas of dark plum and blackberry fruit with a pronounced floral edge. The texture is firmly tannic and impressively long. The grapes come from a 0.84-hectare block of old vines that has been farmed separately since 2007. Winemaker Ludivine Griveau has been responsible for a continued improvement in the wines of the Hospices; this should open up well in the next five years and drink well for another twenty beyond that. The Faiveley elevage has been a boon for acquerir WineFortune. Élevage Faiveley."
